It also seems that if you're not fond of Israel you don't get a proper voice in the mainstream media.

I've read a lot of discussions here and a lot of people surmise that the palestinians are brainwashed and that Israel is always doing the right thing.

Doesn't seem right.

  1. I don't equate anti-zionism with racism, I can't recall anyone equating this with racism, some people try to equate antisemitism though.

Criticizing Zionism is neither racist or antisemitism. What people have done in the name of Zionism MUST be condemned and is simply not acceptable. Zionism had nothing to do with religion, rather it were right wing Zionists who completely dominated Zionism and what they did is appalling.

Today I like many many Americans don't like Zionist influence

over our policies. Keep in mind many of the Zionist lobbies are right wing fundamentalist Christians. However most powerful pro-Israel lobby is AIPAC, even Obama had to pay fealty to AIPAC.

  2. Good question. I would also like to know why "anti-semitism" relates only to Jews. Palestinians are Semitic people as well. So when an Israeli tank blows up a 14 year old Palestinian boy who is throwing rocks, doesnt that make the Israelis "anti-semites"?

Fact is, here in America we only hear one side of the issue becuase the mass media is largely controlled by Jews. People will start caring about this issue once Israeli actions cause gas to cost $10 a gallon. (Attack on Iran anyone?)
