  1. Because some people want to view these women as VICTIMS rather than the fact that these women are clearly choosing to be in these films. If women come across as being exploited in p**n they exploit themselves.

  2. The actions of a few have no bearing on their entire gender.  What may be degrading to the participants has nothing to do with 'all' women!

  3. Don't you mean "some people"? Obviously not everyone thinks that.

Add: I think people have a wide range of opinions as to whether it is "degrading" or not. I think it also depends on the type of p**n. There are some types that I think most people would agree IS degrading.

  4. You make a good logical argument !

Which means the girls who do ......must not have any Up there,

you know logic and all that.  I t explains why they do as they do!

Secondly , it is not all the world a feminist now ? It doesn't matter

who sais it. but put it this way ...'Would you like your Aunt and

your mum and your sister all lined up on the main street with their

T*W*A*T*s   wide open for all the men to see ?

I think you have your answer what the word DEGRADING really means.

  5. I don't know why some people think of p**n (and the s*x industry in general) as being degrading to women - it's no more degrading to women than it is to men, and it's a part of the entertainment industry, so in effect no more degrading (and in some cases possibly less degrading) than Hollywood.

The obvious exception is s*x slaves - that is, girls and women imported illegally (often from Eastern Europe and Russia) to be forced into the s*x industry. Aside from these women, the others in p**n or the s*x industry have chosen to take part in this, whether through financial necessity or not, they have made their choice. I have no problem with anyone wanting to take part in this industry, as long as it's their own choice made of their own free will.

The women who feel "degraded" by p**n because their husbands or boyfriends watch it need to get over themselves. They are very insecure if they are jealous of a picture or film. Frankly, these are the women with the problem, not the p**n stars themselves.

  6. well i love p**n. i dont think its degrading. i love the idea of having se with a group of men. i am not going to do it but it definitely turns me on watching/fantasising about it.

i cant really see whats degrading about p**n really. i think that is just an excuse for the types of women who have low self esttem to have a valid reason for hating it.

  7. Maybe the women who get into it don't find it degrading. Does that mean we should all agree?

  8. u know What ur a real perve

    women actually deserve a life

we dnt hav to be used as friken s*x toys or for stupid p**n movies that guys watch cuz they hav no life of their own and hav never had a real love in their life.

so get a life and toss out all those friken p**n movies and actually find a true love

cuz women are here to be respected just as well as you are

so you better friken respect us

    :(

  9. most of the girls you see in your magazine, are very poor, and trying to earn money. Many of them works as a w***e too. It's actually very sad, that such things happen, but unfortunately it does...

  10. I don't know.  Part of the feminist movement is to promote freedom to do what one wants with their own body (see the abortion questions in here)...and then you see posters talk about how p**n and prostitution are degrading and these women are victims, and strippers have Daddy issues.  What consenting adults do and watch is none of my business and whether or not I would choose to do it or want my sister doing it is none of my business either.  If the person sitting next to me at work chooses to look at p**n (I'm assuming this is all involving adults) what do I care?

  11. I think you've got it backwards. Feminists are the ones who think that things like p**n and stripping are empowering to women and that prostitution should be legalized and "made safe" (as if that's even possible....).

I am not a feminist at all, and I stand by the opinion that p**n *is* degrading to women. It reduces them to nothing but a body to be used for the sexual pleasure of total strangers. That's it. They don't give a darn about who she is. They don't care if she is happy or not, or if she's genuinely enjoying herself. All they care about is whether or not her body is s**y enough and getting their rocks off and using her as a visual aid. How is that in any way NOT degrading to her? BTW....I think it's just as degrading for the man involved too but we're not talking about him this time around.

And just because "everyone's doing it" doesn't mean it's magically not degrading. Women these days have been told that, instead of this "career choice" being bad for them and not moral, it is liberating and empowering and that she has every right to "celebrate her sexuality" in that way and "take control of her body". They are degrading themselves and they neither know nor care. They have been lied to. And guess who benefits the most from it?

  12. Feminists are torn on this issues.

New 3rd wave feminists applaud raunchy culture as "liberating" while old guard 2nd wave feminists are almost puritanical about their approach towards sexuality. You can say that feminism is almost schizophrenic over s*x.

  13. Not all p**n is, I think some of them are where it's just from the male perspective and he is jizzing all over her face. But it is entirely her choice to do it; it's up to her no-one else. I don't like the big fake Ken and Barbie doll x*x p**n personally. But I don't mind erotica.

It's a personally choice; if a woman chooses to be in that industry then she can, just like men do.

  14. because the women are having s*x with a huge amount of men. letting them do whatever they want to them,

i personally think its smart. but i wouldn't want to feel used up and not special so i wouldt do it.

also sometimes its just an easy way to get into modeling and making big bucks.

  15. That is people who have nothing better to do.  They have got to always have something to b.... about. The people who say it is degrading are the same ones who talk about someone because they are alot prettier than them. I enjoy the benefits from my husband watching them. If some of these people would get a life, a job, they wouldn't have time to complain about every little thing. as long as they are willing.
