Why do people fast and?

and take their anger out on everyone else?

Doesn't that ruin the whole point of fasting?

why do muslim people fast? that has many reason we know or many of us don't know actually.. the first reason; our creator wants from us to fast.. thats the most important one... and than the reasons of that want comes...the one that almost all knows, fasting is a way to understand how do the hungry people feel...when you understand, it's a way to thank your creator to everything that he gave you! and than it makes you much helpful for the people who need, who are hungry... thats already what islam always wants from people.. if eveybody helps to other who has less thing the them, there wouldnt be any poor all around... fasting is a reminder about that.. and some other reasons may many of people who fast dont know, but the One who wants from us to fast knows;) i learned that from a book about fasting and i was just wonder!! some doctors (some of them not muslim) make some experiments about the fast.. (if i dont remember wrong it was at an universty in New York) they see that the fast has many goodness for the human... and they noticed that the people who in fast are  not same with hungry people... they noticed that while the fast everything is guite normal alltough the other people has something wrong with their body...they advice for some patients, fasting in some illness..(its already strange that i can see also if a person in fast he/she doesnt feel hungry like he/she doesnt in fast but eat the meal same time)i think thats just about the faith and than help of Allah... so the goodness of fast they found, in fast the brain of person works better.. so the doctors who made experiments say; its better to be in fast while the exams for students...and also they say the fast is a way to use the all storaged foods in the body.. when u use them u renew your body!! etc. etc. etc... it has many other goodness for your health and spirit.. these are just some i remember now... but you see these are not my own ideas... science says that... and i have already experienced all in my own when i am in fast^^ its a very amasing feeling which hard to explain with words... fast doesnt mean staying hungry or geting angry... its a special task which has been giving you to teach many thing, and to help you have many goodness for your own; in this life and the other which is the real,after death... hope this will help you to understand about fast more... have all the best^^

i am not angry but i am fasting Because Ramadhan is the only one month which i like and only come in one year ...........

What people are you referring to?

Muslims fast (during Ramadan, which just began) in order to get a sense of what it is like to be poor and hungry.  There isn't any anger involved, though.

if you hurt someone there is no point in doing fasts,doing donations or praying cos if you want to make God happy you should love his creations and try not to hurt them.

When you fast, you not only fast from food you fast from hurting others.  One must watch watch their tongue! Refrain from anger and similar acts.  It's a time to increase your eman and take a step into the change for the better, not to get angry that's pointless.

Even when we're not fasting we shouldn't be taking our anger out on others.

most idiots r hung up on fanatic rules and do not pause to think why these rules are recommended in the first place. Secondly , they miss the point all together and come out with absurd arguments like "I do not do that" or even worse " I do not know of any one that does that, implying among Billions Of Muslims, NO ONE does that!
