Question:

Why do people feel the need to add unnecessary things in their answers?

I hate when I'm asking a question in Singles & Dating or anywhere else BUT Religion & Spirituality, and some answerer comes along and starts preaching to me in their answer. It's SO frustrating to hear "The Creator made them, and He will guide you to the right direction. Just follow Him."

That didn't answer my question about whether my crush liked me or not.

Why do people put that in there when it's unnecessary?

  1. I suggest that you just delete those answers - ranting against religion just brings out more of their numbers.

  2. Some people are naturally like that. They start off giving advice then they end up (unintentionally) slipping their own views into the situation, forgetting that it's about the other person and not them. I don't think they mean any harm. It's just how society is, different people act differently. Also, you know that certain questions are always gonna end up involving answers about religion especially if you maybe asking a question pertaining to be homosexual, ex-druggie or anything else like this. Don't take it personally. Weed the good answers out from the bad. Believe me, most people here at YA are here to help. There are some jerks who don't have anything better to do but poke fun out of people's questions but, they don't seem to know any better.

Also, remember some folks are just crazy, LOL.

  3. it's not unecssary, you just have the wrong frame of mind. People are just trying to bless you via email, becasue its part of what THEY believe. Remeber, you asked.

Now this, THIS is UNECESSARY: my original answer

You basically might as well re-phrase the question, like" Why do i not like the answers i get after i posted them on a free forum for everyone on the internet to see and give me thier opinions?"

Or its like asking "why is the sky blue with clouds ona breezy day?" Thats becuz, like the blind cant see, thay dont understand color. Since you apperently dont know God, you dont understand those answers.

    Thats what i call unecessary...

    bananas......

  4. the lord is reaching out to you through them. they are guiding you in the right direction follow them

  5. They have been brainwashed and cannot think outside the box,.........errr, I mean the Bible.

  6. Just ignore it, that happens here frequently.

  7. True, it is tacky and unnecessary. But it is the price you pay for using a free public site. Just scroll on past them and don't waste valuable energy getting annoyed. They are the owners of the problem, not you. Many other non-evangelistic answers will be just as tacky and unnecessary, if not more so. Water off a duck's back.

Are you really speculating as to why they feel the need? They are insecure people clinging to childlike reliance on external authority. More to be pitied than censured.

  8. They can't help it, poor things. They have got the disease. This kind of so-called 'evangelism' is like a virus attacking the cells of the brain. The poor people who suffer from this are not fully in control of their actions. They can't say anything normal without the god words pouring out like vomit across a table.

Normal people should be cautious about getting too close to anyone suffering from this malady. It seems to be infectious, at least it is in the USA.

  9. They are weird. Vote Democrat.
