Why do people feel the need to pick their noses?

In my grade 4 class I knew this Korean girl who picks her nose and ate it..It was disgusting as h**l. I do pick my nose but what the h**l? I would never ever eat my boogers..And this really stupid red head girl in my grade 6 class told me " everybody eat their own boogers when they were small "  and I'm like this in my head " that's f****** bullshit "

I guess it 's better then there back-end.But they must hard been brout up that way and that's dumb for people to do that when people can see them.I would not do that in public

Gross as it is (I avoid doing it in public),  it's bcause whatever's up there is getting in the way of breathing and making my nose feel dry and uncomfortable.

Because somethimes a finger is the only way to go, and a tissue just wont do the job.

I agree... its so disgusting to see someone excavate their nose!! We all have snots - I understand that - and some of them are quite irritable and we feel the need to get them out of their - but isnt that what tissues are for? I dont see why - if its no big deal for me to go and get a tissue to blow my nose, why other people cant do the same!!

sometimes when the air is dry all the stuff in your nose clumps up and you can feel it ; geez! Unless she's walking around town with her finger up her nose in plain view I'd say let it go

They pick their noses because there are BOOGERS in there that they want to get out. Somtimes, blowing your nose don't get all the boogers out...lmao..People who say"I don't pick my nose" are freakin' liars, they're the one that pick their noses the most. lol..
