Why do people feel warmer just before it rains?

A and B are true but not necessarily just before rain.  C is not true.  D. is likely true and relevant.  Falling rain (from a cloud) can entrain air moving it down and toward you and the earliest rain drops may evaporate as the air falls and is compressed increasing its temperature while evaporating the early drops.  this would increase humidity preventing a body from cooling by evaporation of sweat.
