when there is no one in front of them and the line of traffic is clearly going to go faster than them. sure the limit is 55 (here) but traffic moves at a much faster clip. if nobody is in front of you, get over to the right, isn't that what keep right except to pass means?

  1. I don giv them tym to flash liyts or burds

  2. It sounds like road rage, and totally being rude. Are you going to a fire or something? Didn't you know SPEED KILLS? Slow down and you just might save your own life someday.

  3. The speed limit is 55. End of story. If they are doing the speed limit, you are wrong, not them.

Flashing the brights is also illegal. Its called dazzling and is a summons. It can also be viewed as an agressive driving act.

Who are you, breaking the law, to bright someone else?

Brights can blind people with night blindness and casue an accidnet.

You are 110% wrong. If you wish to speed, that is your problem.

Depending on the road, they may have no obligation to stay right. Then again, they may have, but you are not a police officer and have no business taking agressive, offensive action against another motorist.

Don't get all tough in your car, as well. One of these days, you may run into someone who will chase you down.

BTW, I had a person race up behine me, put on his highbeams and tailgate because he figured that was OK. I was doing 10 MPH over the speed limit.

If he took his time to notice, instead of driving like a maniac, he would have noticed certain features about my car.

Needless to say, i allowed him to pass. As soon as he raced by me, I pulled him over and summonsed him for reckless driving, agressive driving ( a crime here in NY now) Dazzling, speeding, tailgating, obstructed view (stuff on his mirror), no insurance and no seatbelt. I also impounded his car for the agressive driving.

If he was wiilling to do that to me, what was he doing to other drivers? he was a menace and thought his car was his own personal weapon.

You need to only follow the laws that apply to you. if a person is in the left lane, we will deal with him, not you.

  4. yes usually.Unless your a tailgater.

  5. It takes five minutes to recover from the flash.

  6. Because people are stupid ... I had a friend who was driving down the interstate doing 70 (5 miles over) who had a line of angry people behind her. She became angry that they were tailgating her, and was then even more angry when about 5 cars passed her (using the middle lane as she still would not get over) She said she didn't care because she was in the "fast" lane and was going fast enough ... I cringed the whole time, and tried to explain it to her, but she didn't get it. She's a horrible driver though, she doesn't "get" 3 or 4 way stop signs or right of ways or ... I'm going to volunteer  to drive more often.

That is my number one pet peeve driving on interstates. Or when you drive and there are cars in every lane going the same speed making it impossible to pass anyone. I call these "bust a move" moments, when it happens I will be in my car "com'on somebody bust a move already!" I do that to try and calm myself down, as those two things mentioned will make me go from calm and collected to completely angry and filled with road rage in 0.2 seconds.

I say they probably flip you off because they felt threatened by your flashing high beams ... however, they should learn to drive and realize that driving involves SHARING the road. To me it seems obvious, if no one is in front of you, and the person behind you OBVIOUSLY would like to pass, get over or drive faster ... sheesh ... I hate people who drive like that!

  7. i totally agree with you but others just want to be a  ss holes!!  For some reason people arent considerate of others on the road in america, in germany you dont even have to flash your lights, if they see youcoming they move!!
