You need to look farther.  Why do the American people accept the idea that it was the result of a "lone bomber"?  Why have they allowed criminal politicians to use this terrorist act to erode our freedom?

The answer is, there was prior knowledge on the part of some people who should have stopped it.  Just as in the case of the two attacks on the World Trade Center, people drawing government paychecks allowed this to happen.
