Why do people from third world nations live with their parents?

Question

I can imagine poor people have no choice but I have that even rich people live with their parents or the parents live with their children?

Isn't it a bit weird?

Makes me proud of my American-Greek culture.

its the culture its family centric, um in europe that happens too especially Italy, Spain, France. tho they do live not just at 18 like americans do.

Hi,there is not such as ,when children get bigger for example after 18 years old they learn live alone some body work,or graduate in univercity ,by the way they dont live with their parents.I live in Iran.good luck.

Yasu kid! I have an answer for you I hope you will fine simplistically defining. I am married to a Brazilian lady and I have first hand knowledge. It is simply this. It comes down to more than a need for survival. It has to do with historically correct family structure. Only in America , is the practice of shipping your seniors off to rest homes practiced. In other cultures, that would almost not even be a consideration. The burden of care falls on the families. As it should be. To dispose of your family when those who cared for you when you were in need of care while you are young, is considered less that comprehensible. Not only that, but the seniors actually can take up in aiding around the house in ways a constructive mind should. Handle bill paying paperwork and accounting and phone calls , or anything they desire. They are the seniors and to be respected. This is one of the many things america has lost. When the senior becomes a burden, and has no use, generally people are then possibly in need of a rest home. The line in america sometimes gets defined as soon as they retire, find an excuse , lie to them and through away the key, is just more example of the unfortunately wasteful society america is becoming. One simple answer. Why are telemarketers all young people fresh school or jail? Can't our seniors more effectively telemarket? Take the use from a persons life and see how long they last. My Buddy is Greek , and his mother took care of her mother until the end. I would be proud too!
