Why do people generally enjoy gossip?

Are people generally nosy? or just enjoy hearing about other peoples lives? Why are people like this and can you really trust anyone?

Yes mostly, but this is the way to know about his or her character, In present we can't believe our self how come another person. People love it because mostly are unemployed, if they are unemployed then they don;t have work to do so they time pass to do GOSSIP.

well my personal life is pretty boring-same sh*t new Toilet as they say

sometimes a little gossip is fun & entertaining

& no I dont think you can ever REALLY trust anyone-I dont even think we can trust ourselves 1/2 the time

people enjoy gossip because a) there's the possibility that it may not be true or b) people's lives are boring and they turn their attention to someone else's life who's more interesting
