Why do people get aches in their sides when they run?

    The above link is a nice summary on the issue. I eat plenty of bananas, stay hydrated, and rarely experience cramps anymore.


  2. for some people it happens all the time, no matter what, im one of those people, it sucks, but when u realize its not gonna stop, you just run through it

  3. If it is a stitch it is because your breathing rythm is the same as your running rythnm, if you always breath out as you are landing on one foot, or because you have too much food in your stomache.

    These things mean that one side of your diaphram is carrying a lot of weight. eat and drink less, but top up as you go, before you run or alter your breathing rythm

    Because they're not used to running.

    Run more often and it never happens.

  5. Lactate build up! Some people get it in their legs as well.
