Why do people get angry when one tries to help the USA Government?

This veteran walks up and ask all people who has a decal on their vehicle that says proudly "I support the Iraq war "or" I support the troops" to send their children to the Marines or Army. They have a sour look on their face after the question is ask. why?

if they have an "i support our troops" decal then they may or may not support the war. soo perhaps they don't want their own children in a situation they don't believe in but support the troops who ARE in the situation.
