Why do people get married?

Why not just live together.......and if you ever feel unloved, you can simply just leave. And why share your money? How about having separate savings accounts? Sharing money makes it difficult to leave in the event you don't like the relationship.

How about the idea of just livnig together, enjoying yourself?

  1. For some people, marriage isn't the answer, and they're okay with having a family and not being tied together on paper. But others want a symbol of their love, and a vow that it will last forever. Sometimes it's easier to share money, especially if you have kids to raise. You're assuming the relationship ends badly, and in that case it's a lot easier if there's no marriage to deal with. How about all the relationships where no one has to leave at the end, because there is no end? Why not get married, if it feels right for both of them?

  2. Whats it to you why people get married its their life and their choice.

Worry about your own life and dont concern yourself with others.

    Mind your own business.

If you dont want to get married then dont who cares.

  3. They get married because they get the urge to s***w up a perfectly good thing.

  4. Because when you grow up, you care about more than just "enjoying yourself."  You have obviously never been married.  It is such a different feeling.  A deeper commitment.  A family.  You don't get it.

  5. you marry because you want to commit, let alone the moral obligations. Marriage is NOT  the end to enjoyment, now you just have a soul mate to enjoy things with.

  6. I got married because I don't believe in living with someone out of wedlock. I know it's old fashioned, but that's my way of thinking. I also think that people think it is a way of sealing the relationship. Some ladies, like myself, dream of the day that they get married. some persons culture and upbringing only allows for marriage, not living together. As for the bank account, I believe in separate accounts. We both have separate accounts but we put money into a third one for the kids education.
