  1. G-Force + Food in stomach = PUKE

  2. Because they throw off your equilibrium.

  3. Sometimes it's anxiety. People can make themselves sick just being afraid. Panic can even make people feel like they are having heart attacks.

  4. becuase their stomach is not used to the twists and turns that the rides give them, and it cuase thier stomach to throw up the food becuase its not good for the body

  5. Motion Sickness...Some people's equilibrium cannot handle fast motions or rocky movements...Also, some people have problems with their ears which causes vertigo...or they might just be wusses and can't handle rides (nerves).

  6. Well, there are actually several factors contributing to this condition.  Of course, part of it is the "motion-sickness" induced by the constant changes in orientation and G-forces, but psychological factors also play an important role.  Sickness can be caused by heightened emotions associated with the ride, either extreme fear or intense excitement.  These emotions secrete incredibly high levels of hormones throughout the body when they are paired with the physical trauma of being on an unfamiliar and intense ride.  Also, the amount and type of food in your digestive plays an important role.  Foods that are high in fat or cholesterol, and obviously an excess of food increase the likeliness of motion sickness, but a lack of food can cause illness as well.  The empty space in the stomach and intestines creates more "wiggle room" for all of your organs, and this can occasionally cause dry heaving.

  7. The Brain moves around causing a person to become sick.

  8. Motion sickness... the movement makes you feel sick to your stomach... I get it on the bus or long car rides.

  9. motion sickness, that's what does it for me anyway

  10. Check out Motion sickness on the Wikipedia  for why ...

and also what they suggest to do for it.

One common suggestion is to simply look out of the window of the moving vehicle and to gaze toward the horizon in the direction of travel. This helps to re-orient the inner sense of balance by providing a visual reaffirmation of motion.[citation needed]

In the night, or in a ship without windows, it is helpful to simply close one's eyes, or if possible, take a nap. This resolves the input conflict between the eyes and the inner ear. Napping also helps prevent psychogenic effects (i.e. the effect of sickness being magnified by thinking about it).

Fresh, cool air can also relieve motion sickness slightly, although it is likely this is related to avoiding foul odors which can worsen nausea.

Especially while in a car, if you are the passenger and the vehicle is turning a lot on the road, it is best to stay in the front seat next to the driver and open the window, so that the wind coming from the opened window can make you fall asleep.
