I was wondering why people go to Switzerland to renew their touristic (90 day) visa for Italy? If you can only stay 90 days out of a 180-day period in Italy, then the remaining 90 days you have to remain out of Schengen countries...what does going to Switzerland for a day and coming back do? Is that a loophole or something? Does it work?

  1. All you have to do is go to a non E-U country like Switzerland and you have traveled else where and can return back to Italy.

  2. Because the d**n swiss think they  are special and better than everyone else in europe so they decided  not to be part of the EU... therefore you go to switzerland to do those kinds of things...

flip them off for me while your there!
