Why do people harass loners, weirdos and psychopaths?

Exactly.  I interpreted this question as not only aimed at bullies but at society in general.  And it's a good question.

Because they fear those that are different.  In the case of psychopaths, justifiably!

it makes them feel better. bullies, pick on other people to let out anger. these types of people are just singled out because they are different. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING DIFFERENT.

They are easier targets than others I guess because people feel they have power over "loners", "weirdos", and "psychopaths" or whoever it may be. People lust for power and sometimes they are getting harassed and they build up low self esteem so they like to feel fear and power by harassing easy targets.

I'm not different................I'm UNIQUE  (or is that eunuch?).

One critical difference is that people can have unique interests and still treat others with respect and - where appropriate - caring.

There will still be those who are loners or who seem weird becasue they can't relate well to others.  They still have the right to live their lives without harassment.
