Why do people hate Chad Johnson??

Ok he goes out and celebrates after every touchdown which i have no problem with. Barry Sanders (who has never celebrated) even said he likes it and the NFL players are entertainers as well.....He's one of the hardest workinf players in the NFL....No off the field problems at all. U never hear about his personal life either so the guy is pretty smart.

Because he's a whiner and he thinks he's the best WR in the league and always complaining about his contract and how he wants more money, we dont want to see a person complain over the MILLIONS he's getting paid while were just living everyday lives, he needs to overcome his BIG ego

I know he's a hard worker but in my opinion Steve Smith is the hardest working and most dedicated WR in the league if you just see the look in his eyes before plays you'd think he was an animal or something he is very dedicated and never whines or makes commotion like Chad does that's why everybody talks about Chad

No doubt about his greatness as a receiver, but he's a ME person who endorses himself well.  Personally, I think he is rather arrogant.

i don't mind it too much, although his hall of fame jacket thing i thought was pretty stupid last year

Well, I have to agree that Chad is one of the hardest working receievers.  I mean you can not deny that he can gain major yardage.  He has had 1000+ yards in each of his seasons except for one season.  He has certainly flourshied with that offense in Cinncinatti.  However I can give you one reason why he is not liked by many fans.  He has one of the biggest mouths in the league.  On the field, he is trash talking the safeties, on the sidelines he is talking.  Many do not like the fact that he would rather talk than play.  Also remember the horrible H.O.F. jacket?  I think that was very arrogant, and over the top.  Its one thing when he does touch down celebrations that are normal, but he's starting to become like T.O. was a couple of seasons ago.  His celebrations are not all that bad, but when he does things that are over the top it makes him seem like a jerk.  But I can say this, if anyone has earned the right to talk trash it is Chad because he gives 110% every Sunday and it shows in his stats every year..
