Why do people hate Dirk Nowitzki?

Why do people hate him? He's never cocky unlike some very great players in this league. He always has a smile on his face. He's always passionate in what he does best:basketball. You never see him in a revengeful manner. Sure people think he's soft, so what does that make Chris Paul? Paul's never got in a fight in a game;neither has nowitzki. Sure maybe he's probably had some things to say to some people; but so has Nowitzki. I'm not being a hater, but why don't people call Chris Paul a softie, when they call Nowitzki one?

Anyways honestly what are you predictions on the Mavericks standings if they get josh smith/ or if they keep howard.

I don't hate No-Win-Ski, it's just painful to watch him play.

Nowitzki is a 7 footer who takes jumpshots from the outside. He can't defend any of the other 7 footers in the league. He tends to choke in clutch situations. He cries like a baby everytime he gets called for a foul.

He's like Yao Ming- You'll never build a championship team around a player like this.

dirk is just a soft guy he never wants to get into a fight or anything so i think the worst person on the mavs with an additude is josh howard seriously.
