Why do people hate Disney channel?

Why don't people like disney channel? I think the shows are funny like Hannah montana kills me especially jackson and that's so raven is funny and suite life but those are the only shows i really watch but the movies are gayyyyy like camp rock but high school musical was good just the first one. so my question is for all you disney channel haters, why do you hate it?

Because it's becoming more like a clone to Nickelodeon. Back in the day, Disney used to have very good shows like "Lizzie McGuire," "Even Stevens," and "That's So Raven." These shows really helped put Disney on the map. But nowadays, it's all about "Hannah Montana" and "High School Musical." I do believe Disney had changed a little bit in the past couple of years. I don't think Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers are responsible for killing it.

for me some parts are good and some parts are not so good. but i think Disney channel is soo unrealistic. everyone there seems fake to me. the stars look perfect and can "sing" perfectly. they even dress perfect all the time. i think it's too glamorous, to cheesy, and too fake.

personally i want the old Disney back. with some classical cartoons and t.v shows like: even Stevens,Lizzie Mcguire, boy meets world, pooh bear, Ariel, Mickey mouse club, good movies.

little kids today are missing out on a lot. i feel bad that they are getting brainwashed with high school musical ect.

Because it use to be a very good station that aired old Disney films animated and live action as well as old Disney programs like Davy Crockett, Swamp Fox and the original Mickey Mouse Club. It aired the old theatrical shorts of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy. It denied its heritage, what it was built on, it abandoned its purpose for fluff, much like MTV not showing music and TVLand not showing classic TV.

I dont hate the disney channel but I dont love it either. In my opinion its because I like the n better because it is a teenage channel. Once you get older you tend to like the teenage channels better. Also they never have that many new episodes of the suite life of zack & cody or thats so raven. I also think that they are going overboard with there movies and need to focus more on the tv shows.

Because Disney Channel, Nick , Cartoon Network changed since we was growing up. I personally hate it because the shows are bad and i really wish Disney brought back those old shows and cartoons.

I think it's because Disney Channel used to have a lot of kid-friendly cartoon shows.  Now, all the have are teenage-oriented shows in a channel that's supposed to be for little kids.  And besides, it'd be good if the teen shows were actually good - but in Hannah Montana, for example, you basically have Hannah and Jackson calling themselves "stupid" or "idiot" for like 10 whole minutes and they even put the laughing audio track in the background.  Stupid is not a bad word for 13-year-old, but for a six-year-old...of course it's a bad word!  Plus, most of those shows talk about dating WAY TOO MUCH!  If these shows were on another channel like TeenNick, they'd be better.  But they're in channel for little kids.  Bad idea!  They're giving little kids a horrible example!

I don't personally  hate it. it just has been changed since I have been watching the show since a decade ago. They have that mania of Hanna Montana/{ Boy band craze} and dumb cartoons. But it's my opinion and my taste has grown and the children to like Disney so  I can't bash it whole-heartedly. The only cartoon I liked was the black family one. The voice of the character was the kid in Love and basketball. I saw an episode with my little cuz that loves it and I actually liked that cartoon

Mostly because Disney Channel has become overrated these days and the only focus these days are Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers and teen bands. I miss the old days when Disney's focus was on cartoons, not teen actors.
