Why do people hate Disney?

Seriously, I want to know. I don't see any reason to hate Disney but obviously some people have a big problem with it.

1. They present bad situations as seemingly good things. The death of parents, loss of friends/ other family.

2. Some people just don't like cartoons. Animation may just be an agitator for some people.

3. They tend to give a somewhat narrow minded aspect on life's situations. You can always tell who is good, and who is bad. The good always wins, the bad always loses.

4. Some people want a more mature/ deeper thinking theme, instead of how many people do we need to help before I can beat the bad guy?

5. Maybe you're just confusing hate with a general dislike of Disney.

Although its targeted for a general audience, 4+ year olds are watching. Last time, I heard my sister saying "I wish I had a boyfriend like Miley." When I was younger, I didn't watch Disney. I watched cartoons like s****. Doo and education shows like Cyberspace and Dragonland. Sadly, now there are crappy cartoons and shows in which actors try to act.

Those who  hate Disney....probably hate their childhood... as lots of disney characters lives in our childhood as real ones...you cant take them out of your life...Disney has become eternal part life now...as it has created characters like mickey, donald duck, goofy.....lots more to fill ur life with happinesss......

I love disney! I'm a teenager and  i still have those good old pinochio and bambi and cinderella and snow white videos somewhere! And disney channel rocks :P

yup. we disney haters eventually find the flaws of disney. disney change up songs and make it alot less original. these new stars dont really seem to be good role models<miley&V>. these disney ppl dont seem to have great talent. AND we dont find zac effron and the jonas brothers attractive >:O

I liked the OLD Disney. I still watch that channel when nothing else is on though...all the new shows/movies are kind of stupid and annoy me. All these darn sequels. Cheetah Girls: Go to Mars! High School Musical 37: Retirement party!

I have never come across anyone who hated Disney.  I could understand Apathy...but hate?  I'd reserve that for something that really mattered.
