Why do people hate Dwayne Michael Carter??(Lil Wayne)?

I cant stand the people who says lil wayne doesn't deserve this or that, 'he shouldn't be the best rapper alive,' 'he says stupid things.' I for one, love lil wayne and disagree strongly. Lil wayne says sum strong things if u listen to his word a little bit more instead of trying to listen to his songs just to find something stupid he says and complain about it.

Im not even that big of a Wayne fan but the sheer ammount of hypocrisy and stupidity illciting a response from me. Im amazed, not one person on here has provided a legit answer to why they hate Lil Wayne, what nobody on here can back up their hate? Ive seen at least 5 people say they hate him because he is degrading....open your ******* eyes, Nas has degraded people before, Jay-Z has degraded people as well, 2 Pac has degraded people before as well, so you a hypocrite if you say that you love Nas but hate Wayne because he is degrading. Also, for the idiots who decided they would hate because they think he is g*y....WTF does that have to do with his music. People say he never raps about anything meaningful, they clearly have never listened to anything before Lollipop, listen to I Miss My Dawgs or **** The World, he is rapping about **** that actually happened in his life, that profoundly affected him. Anyone who says they hate him because he bites lines is a hypocrite because they are the same people who would tell me that the love Jay-Z and he is one of the best ever. Guess what, Jay bites lines too. I really wouldnt care if people didnt make such a big deal about Wayne, but at least 5 idiots on here have to attempt to force the opinion that he sucks when it isnt true for everyone. If people dont like some of the underground artists that you give blind praise to on here, they dont dedicate 50 threads a day to how much they hate him. People really need to get off the forcing opinions bull, if you dont like Wayne fine, just dont listen, but dont tell me 50 times he is the worst rapper alive, especially if you are basing his entire career off Carter 3 or Lollipop. You dont see anyone else saying Jay-Z blows nuts for "I Know What Girls Like"

I can understand where your question is coming from but a lot of people often forget that you may be the greatest rapper alive and yet some people may still not like you. You cant win over everybody's respect especially not in the rap game. I am a big fan of Lil Wayne not only because of the things that come out of his mouth but because of his ability to captivate an audience. And another thing with all due respect the majority of the rap game is reppin for Weezy so aint no "everybody hatin on weezy".

Lol Your in luck, i feel like typing a essay. well Weezy is pretty degrading & his lyrics are nothingness. i hate the guy now because:

A) he fell off, compare the carter to the carter 2. carter had deep songs about his life and 1, ONE club song. carter 2 was filled full of songs for radio and clubs, with average lyrics. carter 3 is more of a dance album than a RAP album.

B) he is in it for the money and nothing else, anyone who has heard Da Drought Is Over (tha carter 3 sessions) mixtape, can easily see this. he left out some quality songs.

he left out - pray to tha lord, its killin me, something you forgot and outstanding in place of more and more club songs

ok so maybe he's not the best rapper alive but he probably is the most popular rapper alive, who else has gone multi platinum in the first week? i also like lil wayne, though his lyrics aren't really that deep but he still makes good music. in fact i'm listening to lil wayne right now. but he does get so much flack from people because he's so cocky, but that's why he's so popular too. he's got swagger. plus he's got a lot of songs out and to the people putting up the lyrics for lollipop that's probably his worst song he's ever done so don't make a decision on him just because of that song. and there's a lot of haters out there so just don't listen to what other people say and just do you, if you like lil wayne then f@ck the haters.

i think he is a degrading rapper that raps to rap and also the song "lollipop" is very worthless because only little 5 year olds sing bout lollipops and that song is pretty pointless.
