Why do people hate emo people so much!?

d**n! there so fu**** mean theres nothin wrong with being emo! what do people hate about emo people gosh! they wernt born to make yall happy!

Most people see emo's as weak and prissy. They hate the way emo's try to tell you how their depressed and how they have it so bad. Some but not all have literally made a conscious decision to be miserable.  It sounds ridiculous but many an emo are stuck in a cycle of depression which may or may not be self induced.  Personally I have noticed that  people are emo for attention, or to belong to a group.

There are 'real' emo's, but MOST are viewed as 'posers'.

Well I can understand why happy people don't like being around Emo people. I personally am not saying that they are horrible or anything but I would rather be around someone who liked to have fun, laugh and smile! =)

I guess they don't want to be influenced!

I think some people hate "emos" because emo is slang for a genre of music and people have made it into yet another stereotype.

Another reason could be that people aren't used to the depressed moods and appearance of how "emos" present themselves because it is different to them, and a lot of people cannot accept change/difference.

people does not like Emo cause they are too flirt and they are too gothic.

I understand emo people. I was emo part of my life.

Emo people tell some truths with them. "We're all gonna die anyway. Who cares what I do?"

Some reason would be that within the other people, they reject it. Risk of going to h**l, or something? Maybe...

Plus, emo goes well with the word for homosexuals attached to the back. That's all I know.
