Why do people hate my chemical romance?

why do people hate mcr? they are so cool and save lives (i dont know how). they didnt save my life but they helped me through tough times and yes there is a difference. mcr is my fave band!!! so please anser this question

A lot of people don't like the genre or the music they produce. I love My Chemical Romance and they're one of my favorite bands. I guess people don't always like sad and depressing lyrics. A lot people like the Jonas Brothers now (Which I might add, I hate the Jonas Brothers..), I guess everyone's style is different. If someone can't find the word for something dislike, they'll automatically slap a "hate" to it.

them but many think they are EMO and lots of people hate that.

I love them, they ARE great, they DO save lives, they DO help people through tough times. I don't see why people think of them as 'emo' and 'goth' and 'terrible'. They just know they aren't as cool as them or people who listen to them! :]

Um, if I'm not mistaken, a couple months ago, some little girl committed suicide because of her freaky obsession with MCR and the whole outlook on suicide.

they dont have a reason to hate mcr i love them and yeah theyve helped me too and just like they said "you either get this band or you dont"

they used to be badass, yes. but i think they kinda sold themselves out just to get more popular. their music doesn't seem to have the same type of emotional emph if you will.

it kind of just seems like they're making music to make money and get more people to like them now.
