  1. 1) The coffee they sell is bitter

    2) everything is overpriced

    3) all the coffee is calorie packed

    4) They put up stores everywhere in small towns which run family owned stores out of business

    5) People like to order their coffee in English

    6) Not everyone likes coffee

  2. I don't like their coffee-it tastes burned. It's too expensive too.

  3. It sets up a ton of locations, even in small towns, creating a monopoly which causes mom and pop coffee shops to go under.

  4. i hate there coffee i got sick off of it(i know becuz thats all i had thaty morning) but i love love love their cream based frappucinos normally i get a venti strawberry frapacinno and wen i get home i put red bull in it and im freaking 13 but u cant taste the red bull I LOVE STRAWBERRY FRAPUCINNOS FROM STARBUCKS

  5. I don't have a problem with Starbucks, it's expensive though

  6. my guess is as a chain it has over exposed itself- there are soooo many stores, sometimes within a matter of blocks of each other, that it is intrusive *especially in small towns like the person above points out*. anything in the spot light is going to attract strong opinions, both positive and negative. and like the last person said, it's ridiculously expensive.... but there can't be too many people hating too hard cause they make a tooon of money

  7. First off i have always saw starbucks as a compettitor since my family owns a coffee shop in southern AZ. Second off there c**p is hugely overpriced and isn't worth it with the low end quality. Our shop has products that put it too shame in all categories.

  8. I go to a BP station here. Excellent Colombian for a buck and a half. The down side is there's no greasy hair guy named Carlos to pour it. And no couch to sit in, and stare at a laptop, or talk back to a blue tooth. It's got nothing to do with coffee, the coffee is not too good, it's all about; "look at me, I'm on the cutting edge" of something or other.

  9. its overatted and people like 2 order in english

  10. It's burnt, it's expensive, you have to rub shoulders with twits that are trying out new words ordering drinks and I like my own roasted beans better...Way Better.
