Why do people hate princess Diana so much?

why is everyone so against her? sure she did sleep around but she was still a good person. So why do people say she is a w***e and a obese pig?

I think that you may be confusing her with the Duchess of York aka Duchess of Pork.She was disliked for many years,although people seem to be getting over her now.Prince Andrew  and the Duches are divorced but,get along very well together,now that he is not in the militaryShe is a spokesperson for Weightwatchers.

There are many jealous people in the world.They envied her lifestyle.They don't really know much about the late Princess of Wales and are very unwilling to learn.

There are people who disliked her because she made the Royal Family look out of touch,bringing a critical eye to them and their expenditures and tax-paying habits.

And then there are people who are anti-monarchists who spew their ranting here,saying the most ignorant and ill-informed things about anyone and anyhting to do with the monarchy.

Diana wasn't obese;she suffered from Bulimia and Anorexia to stay  rail-slim at one time.Sarah Fergusson was the one so cruelly named "The Duchess of Pork."

Both weren't whores,either;they did have affairs,but so did Charles and Anne.Did people call them names?

I don't think she is hated

just that as history does it shows people in more than one dimension and that she wasn't always as innocent as she was portrayed

nor that the boys preferred to be with her   just that photos with diana sold for ££££  0r $$$$$ unlike the boys in a photo with charles

her sleeping around  was a matter for her and her partners she was looking for love  charles had his and has remained faithful to that love

what !you must be very young because people was devastated when she died .As for her being fat she never was nor do I think she sleep around.But people can be so mean.I wish other people who had her popularity and charisma would go out and do the good she did when she was alive.I believe she really did care.So what if she was a little self centered aren't we all at times.

I'd never say she was a w***e or obese (she was never fat). However, she did seek attention and used the press to her own advantage.

She wasn't the innocent victim she made herself out to be. She was as guilty as Prince Charles of having affairs,  Prince Charles only had one woman besides his wife. Diana certainly had more than one other man.

The outpouring of grief at her death was excessive.

I live in California, and I remember that Americans across the country were mourning her death. So, obviously, she wasn't hated.

The hated person was Prince Charles who had the nerve to parade that butt-ugly tramp Camilla around after Diana died!

first of all i have never heard of anyone hating princess diana i have never even heard of anyone disliking her!

secondly she did not sleep around and was not a w***e she had one affair while married to charles but who can blame her after the first five years of there marriage he was back with camilla and she was well aware of it so she was left feeling even more depressed and alone

and for her being an obese pig she was dangourlously thin and bulimic for most of her marriage to charles

I have never heard anyone say this about Diana.  They certainly couldn't call her obese, she was as thin as a rake.  As for her sleeping around, well, I don't know anyone who is bothered by the number of lovers she had, and after all she did have a lot of provocation, having a husband in love with another woman is a very trying situation to be in.

Those who dislike Diana generally do so because they feel that she was not an innocent victim as she is usually protrayed as being in the media, but that she was manipulative etc.  I myself never had any very strong feelings about her, but I was sorry when she died, it was a sad ending to her troubled life, and very sad especially for her sons.
