Why do people hate the police?

why do most ppl hate the police i want to be a police officer and ppl say ooh dont because they are all b******s and i was a bad kid i was arrested alot and i wanna stop kids like me. they make the world a better place who wud have stoped terrorism and gun crime.... it goe's on

Most people DON'T hate us. The only ones who do are the criminals who are mad they got caught.  Don't let anyone try to tell you not to pursue a law enforcement career.

yea i wanna be a police 2..but some are very crooked u jus make sure u remain a good fair one..on blacks and whites..and dnt worry about others..i was stopped by five cops jus because of my grand marquis was all chrome and everything my parents got it..but had 2 trade it in cuz they kept stopping me..now after all that i still wanna be a police..god put u on to be a police thats my point..every job is going to have some hate on it..people are going to hate you when you a garbage man because they think you dirty and dnt have a high degree when sometims they do its jus thats what they wanna doif we had none what would happen to the trash people hate you if u even a doctor because you can't give them wat they want and they think you mean ..its jus hate on all the jobs..

except police is a death and life job..but im willing to offer my life specially  if it will help kids learn to respect..and help this world..kids are the future so if ur a cop they should talk to kids more..and help..its not jus crimnal who hates us its good people who hate us 2 but because some of thes  crooked cops are stopping blacks off the base of how there car looks even stopping the whites 2..police think everyone should drive a old car..its people out here who struggle but some police wanna break family away because they might be going thru a divorce or there going thru h**l at home..and wanna bring it out..the good cops are the ones who are true and trusted..i love them good cop..shout out to all the good cops and taking care of there family and there outside family on the streets saving lifes

but i wish u luck in the future in being a police..i might run into ya oneday..lol theres a chance..

Most police officers are very good, dedicated people, but the few that are corrupt make the rest look bad.  Good luck!

Most people don't hate the police. It is just a vocal minority.

Only those that are involved in criminal activity hate the police.  Its a tough and at times thankless job, but we need dedicated individuals in law enforcement.  And yes, there are individuals that shouldn't be officers due to authority and a gun making them macho.  Hopefully these get weeded out.

Too many are bullies. They get mouthy and if you tell them off, as they deserve, YOU get hauled in and even beaten. they also lie and judges always believe them.

why do people hate god? but when they are in trouble call out to him! same reason. I don't hate police officers they are out there to help although there is corrupt officers there are also corrupt people working different places... corrupt judges, corrupt doctors, corrupt mcdonald workers and the list goes on..

Because a lot of policeman really aren't good people. They often feel they can break the law and get away with anything they do (and they often do).
