Why do people hate things that aren't really even related to them?

It's called love. So what if it's between two people of the same s*x? If you don't like it, get over it because it's not your life. Like, I'm a teen and I'm straight and I'm smart enough to realize that acceptance and love is more important then what some book says. (And just so ya know, I go to a Unitarian Universalist church. If you don't know what that means, look it up.) What's wrong with being g*y? Like I'm sorry. People need to realize that people are different. Either live with it or move on.

Some people like to twist religious words around  to suit their needs

Some guys think every g*y guy is going to hit on them and try to convert them into being g*y (stupid i know)

You have the freedom to accept it. Others have the freedom to reject it.

My church will let homosexuals come to church and be members, they just aren't allowed to hold a position of power ex. preacher. There is a verse in the Bible that says homosexuality is wrong. By the way, I go to an United Methodist Church.

My best friend is g*y. He accepts that I don't approve of it. We still love each other though.

whats so wrong with that? kids question their sexuality ALL the time. its not like if you lock all the g*y people up then they wont question it.

you're supposed to question everything.

I know what you mean. If two people are in love same s*x or not it shouldn't be a problem. Like you said love is love. =)

well nothings wrong with being g*y, u can be g*y but if being openly g*y has wrong influsence on children, then thts where i have a problem. picture a kid grownin up ten years from now, he see's a g*y couple and straight couple its only gonna lead to confusion and by then prlly considered normal, which its not im my opinion, it may not affect u directly but i could affect u indirectly . i blame part of this on the media but still. if maybe they start allowing g*y marraige, wat else wont they allow, adult incest maybe. u cant only think about how its gonna affect u, u have to think about the ripple effect, and wats love today, ppl get married and break up like its nothing, thts not luv and i dont mean to put down the g*y community but its pretty abundant there, thts not luv thts lust, desire, what u want. and if  i were jst to agree with this, jst to make ppl happy, well my freedom is lacking right there and thts were its gonna lead to, its gonna lead to point where ppl cant give there own opinion and wrong becomes right and tht will only lead to corruption, im not a hatter, i dont hate ppl, i dont hate g*y, if u have a g*y mentality, fine i accept tht. but there has to be another way. theres always another way.
