Freeway. Four lanes EACH WAY. I'm in the rightmost lane. And people get all rude because I'm driving slow in the SLOW LANE.

Is there some OTHER lane they'd like me to drive slow in?

  1. Forgetaboutit.

They would complain about themselves if they saw another car driving like they do.  They would complain about everything.

Just drive at your comfort level.

    Good Luck...

  2. exactly man people are frikin retards just dont worry about it let them get all worked up over nothin

  3. I have had similar experiences - everyone is in such a hurry and for what? their funeral?  So many times a car will cut ahead of me and speed away -- only for me to pull up along side of them when we encounter the next red light! As far as driving in the right, slow lane -- let people "stew" over it !

I remind my family and friends  first of all that is the correct lane to be in if you have a situation that requires going slow such as not being certain about directions you might have ~ or the person driving is either a new student driver or an elderly family member!!  Or, you simply prefer to drive in the slow lane!

  4. It depends how SLOW you are talking about.

I know that you can be booked if you travel too far under the speed limit. You are creating a hazard on the road.

If the speed limit is 55mph and you are doing 30mph, I can understand why people would be upset.

Why not just stick to the speed limit? Is there some reason you want to drive slower?
