Why do people have cell phones?

I don't have a cell phone and my friends tease me about it. Why? Why do we need them any way?

Well, sometimes they are useful.

I never wanted or needed one but once I got one for a gift I've been hooked!

I'm still not as crazy as some though!

Think of it this way; the main reason I have one at least is if something happened to you and you needed to call for help, you don't have to look for a pay phone which are falling into disrepair and are getting harder and harder to find now days.

I also like taking pictures on them. It's fun to be able to snap a photo really quick and people are generally more candid about a cell phone picture than when you take out a real camera.

Younger kids use them to "text" which lets them talk during class without talking out loud, or passing notes.

It's a great thing! And they are dirt cheap, for someone who doesn't want to talk very much get a $10 Tracfone and pay just $20 every 3 months!

People have cell phones because:

-For emergency's

-More convient

-Fun use such as texting, pic messaging, internet, music and watching videos/tv

-Sometimes to look "cool"

i have to travel an hr to uni everyday and if i break down or something happends i can call for help. Also i use it to keep incontact with friends
