Why do people have to do things they dont like?

it makes no sense at all. im forced to take classes in school that i dont like because "it will prepare me for the real world". why does there have to be things in life that you dont like but you have to do? why cant you just work at a job that you do like? why do people try to make life complicated when it could be really easy.

Because thats life. Your always gonna have to do things you dont like.

yes, you will always have to do things you don't like in life. no matter what. and you can't always just quit or drop out of the things you don't like either. you just have to do it. everyone has to do things like that. and im not lying. it's time face reality.

Well you will never realize the importance of a well rounded education unitl you are old enough to choose your dream job.  I think every student including myself becomes fustrated with the education system making me take classes in something that I will never use. However what you do not realize is that although you may never use algebra, or trig, or write papers on "War and Peace", you will need to be able to handle complex scenarios and situations.  

Taking these classes actually prepares your brain for critical thinking skills and provides maps for quick thinking in situations that you may encounter in the future.  Its confusing but its true.  If you don't understand now just wait ten years.

Give me an example of your dream job that you think you will like.

And I guarantee I will give you at least 25 things that you will DISLIKE about it, as well as things that you need general school knowledge to perform this job.

Also, it's called being well-rounded. You can't only know about one subject - you will be totally boring and unfit. You have to be able to converse on many things and issues to be considered an intelligent and interesting person.
