Why do people have to insult others playing Yu-Gi-Oh on the Card Games section of Y!A?

All the askers want are kind and helpful answers to questions. They didnt do anything to you a**holes that keep giving rude and mostly, irrelevant responses, that are hurtful to others. I mean, why are there people constantly insulting others about a card game, when all the asker wants is to know how to improve gaming skills?

Why are people always calling them nerds for playing a game that they apparently enjoy? Sure, those people may be calling the questioners losers, but why would a person waste time to insult someone else? Seems like we know who the real losers are here. Seems like you guys just have crappy self-esteem to me. Im 17, and going to college, and I love the game. It passes time, I make new friends, and plus its fun. I dont see anything wrong with that at all. Besides, there are worse things people can be doing other than playing a harmless game.

The above isnt intended for those who only inquire about gaming skills, this is for the people who cant respect others.

yeah, i agree, im 15 and play the game, i like to think im ok at it lol. i agree completely, we all can see who the real losers are, we just like having fun :D. rate my deck if u want!?

the reasons are apparent. whether it be the yugioh tcg, magic, the pokemon tcg, the digimon tcg, or the dragonballz tcg, somewhere along the line, they tried it, and were terrible at it, and grew to hate the people that got some kind of enjoyment out of the game, so to overcompensate for the blow to their self-esteem, they insult others who do enjoy the game, to make them feel their pain, and try to cover up their own pain.

either that or the person feels the need to be a ******** for the same compensation, but the roots of their ego-based injury may have been different. in any case, they are just dickheads who have such small, insignificant lives, that they must insult others from behind a mask, so they can feel some kind of elation. and to those who need to hide, and can't say something to someone's face, i use my real name here, and if you had any kind of balls, you can find me somewhere online, and personally talk trash to me, if that will make you feel like someone who's AT LEAST a loser, because you're already so far below that point

If you check my profile, you'll see that ALL the questions that I've ever asked is all about YGO. I do get "insults" and sarcams from time to time but I don't take it personally.

Instead of taking them as real insults, I'm much more irritated because I'm sure these guys only want the 2 points from me; it's a clever way of saying "Thanks for the 2 points" and "YGO Dueling sucks" both at the same time. The same goes for you too. The next time someone

insults you when you ask a question about YGO, try reporting them.

You know what? It doesn't matter why. Even if you knew the reason it probably wouldn't resonate with you. When someone posts an insulting response to a question I ask, or an answer I give, I do the following in sequence:

a. Ignore ( as in I almost NEVER respond to them. I do so once in a blue moon, but only in 0.0001% of cases). When you ignore someone, that person cannot be sure that they got under your skin-and that's what you want. Don't wear your heart on your sleeve for these idiots.

b. Block

c. Report. ( reporting actually works. Many people don't think so but I know for a fact that it does. Even if the offensive content isn't removed, it still counts against the person who is reported and after a certain amount of reports, suspension automatically kicks in. If someone insults you, chances are that the person will insult others. That's a suspension waiting to happen and although most people claim not to care, they usually do-even the trolls.It can't hurt to have them start all over again while you keep your account for years, now can it? Have a good one.)

there losers, instead of doing something productive, they sit at there comp and insult us for spending time on yugioh. when the're clearly doing less than us. hypocrisy at its best. the irony is so sweet here. too bad most of them are to dim to realize it. just live your life and let them do the same.

Besides the whole getting points things some people really like being insulted. They get there giggles when people get mad at them and start typing angry things. Like this right here if one of them reads it there probably laughing there ashes off wondering how someone could care so much about someone saying "you is dum." Also sometimes people just get bored XD. yugioh sux!!!!!!!!!!

Funny that the people that sit in Yahoo answers trying to get points are the ones that insult us players. Don't the people who insult have other questions to bother? Truth to tell why are they in here, don't they have a life?

That response is exactly what these people were looking for that were insulting the game. In the end, yes its a game and you either love it or hate it. Some people 'grow' out of things like that and others focus on improving their skill. I personally don't play it because it doesnt interest me, don't let others opinions get to you because who they consider to be a 'loser' could be completely different to your view of who a loser is. We all know the people setting out to insult people are losers, pity them.

To be perfectly honest they are just sad acts with nothing else to do with their life. You can play the game all you like and stand up for yourself and good on you for doing so. These idiots who insist on critisizing it have such thick skulls they don't realise how stupid they look even after they've been told a thousand times.

Well I'm 15 and in the 9th year and I love the game as well ...

It seems the only reason they insut others is because they suck at the game ...

If only losers played it then the game wouldn't be maybe the biggest card game ever realesed ...!
