the way aj did. the fielder clearly was way to close and aj took advantage of that. i didn't see where anyone gave a-rod h**l for yelling the way he did on a pop up as he rounded 3rd. the sox are a good team and know how to manufacture runs good or bad. he took advantage and it worked.

  1. That's right. When you need to manufacture a run call on A.J. he will take care of it. I can't wait to see what he does next.

  2. Why dumb robots hate AJ because they've heard some players don't like him beat the holy heck out of me. In 2005 he played like a genius. In this run-down, he used his head. Contact was made -- oh, for sure, not enough to count for much -- but it was made. That's all it takes for interference. All AJ did -- using his head again -- was to dramatize it and get himself put safely back on second. He's a smart player who really knows what he's doing out there. I think Y/A people dislike him for the same reason some childish players do: they suspect he's 10 time smarter than them! I'll take a couple of AJ Pierzynskis on my team any ol' day.

  3.   It made the chumps er... umps look like village idiots. This is not very nice and makes Bud Selig frown. He's been frowning a lot lately has he not?

  4. DUMB WHITE SOX FAN:  It is not base runner obstruction for being "way to0 close"--contact has to be made and if you watch the replay AJ INTIATED the contact---come on--dont be stupid - even AJ would tell ya he got away with some bush league!

  5. Your a jerk!!

    GO AJ!

  6. Beacuse a-rod had a bush leauge pla and aj was doing a bush leauge play.

either way ray fans need to shutup

  7. i'd like to know how the ump or AJ was at fault for what happened in the angels playoff game in '05? the ump called strike 3 but because the catcher for the angels dropped the ball (making it live and in play like a wild-pitch) it didn't make it the third out...therefore the batter has the chance to make it to base without it counting as an out. know had the catcher or any of the other teammates been paying attention they would've easily tagged out the slowest person on the field but since they didn't the WHITE SOX went on to deservingly WIN the WORLD SERIES. so before you knock somebody else's hustle on a play check your own ignorance of the rules of the game....chew on that one chumps...I HOPE IT TASTES LIKE A WHOLESOME SERVING OF GENITAL GRISSLE

  8. First of all, you are biased toward the White Sox and your opinion of saying it was a fair play is no different than someone else's opinion that is was not.

Secondly, what A-Rod did was Busch-League and he got A LOT of heat for it.

Lastly, whether you like him or not, it doesn't change the fact that other MLB players view AJ as one of the biggest jerks on the professional level.

I still find it ironic that it was the same ump that blew the call against the Angels in the playoffs a few years back.  AJ must have something on that guy.

  9. I don't think people have a problem with the White Sox doing that.  It's more that it was AJ who did it.  Personally I love the guy, but I am a White Sox fan.  It's like Ozzie said, If he is on your team you love him, but if he is on the opponent's, you hate him  That whole play would not be such a big deal if it was some other player.

I also see no problem with the play on the whole.  The ump saw what happened, and he thought the fielder got in AJ's way.  It doesn't matter if AJ did it on purpose or not, it all comes down to what the ump rules.  The White Sox got a break, and luckily, they took advantage of it.  It was a great game to watch though!!!

  10. B/c they wish they had a heads up player like AJ.   Get over it people.
