Why do people have to "Trash" us? "OBAMA being unpatriotic?

I asked a question regarding peoples thoughts on Obama and his unpatriotic ways. There were some people who simply gave an answer to do nothing other than trash me.

Why is it that when I gave facts about his patriotism (or rather lack of) people had some kind of rude things to say. They are facts that are an addition to his behavior in lots of other aspects.

so you base patriotism on whether he wears a flag pin or puts his hand over his heart during the national anthem?

Did he stand up during the national anthem? ... well then hes patriotic

next, you said he has anti-american beliefs..

I guess you would say the constitution defines 'american beliefs'.

Well im in favor of amending the constitution so that only tax dollars are used to finance all campaigns.  Does that make me anti-american?

I think that money plays too much of a role who gets elected in this country. By using tax dollars, you give the middle class guy the opportunity to represent.. get this... the middle class!

Im in favor of amending the constitution so that our representatives make the median wage in their state. If our representatives want to make more, they must increase the median wage.

you call him anti-american because he wants to change things he doesnt like in america. I want to see us start dealing with chinas unfair trade.. we are a country of free trade.. does that make me anti american?

to the previous poster "we don't need a president that's not proud of our country"

so your proud that we are in a recession? youre proud that we have the highest foreclosure rate in the last 40 years? youre proud that out voice does nothing to back russia down from a war in georgia?

at one time, an american president talking about a war in a foreign country was enough to end that war. Now russia is in all out assult mode, and couldnt give a **** what we say. I am not proud of that.

Personally, I just got so sick of being called a racist because I didn't stick my nose up Obama's *** that I decided the whole democratic party could go to h**l.

I'm republican now, I won't support a bunch of morons who decided to label their own people either racist or sexist.  It's not personal, I just think all democrats are pretty much idiots after this c**p.

I'm with angrystr I'm republican all the way we don't need a president that's not proud of our country we might be looked down to but look at all the countries with there hands out and we help them were still a great country and obama doesn't feel proud of it oh well

It's sad that people treat eachother this way. Partisan politics has turned Americans into monsters who seem to have more interest in their party nominee winning than bettering their country. I've also noticed that Republicans tend to act this way more than Democrats. They're alot more harsher with their words and treatment of people who disagree with them.

Try not to take it too personal, though. Also realize that online, people will say things they wouldn't dare to say in person. That gives them an advantage, especially when things get personal.
