and dont be a jurk.. the more you are mean and rude the more they will not want to talk to you.. another thing dont talk bad about sum one eles to them.. because than they will think that you will talk about them behind there backs like you do to other people

Do you connect with them?  I.e., make eye contact, smile, acknowledge their presence?

Do you look them in the eye when you speak?

When you make comments, are they welcome or are you just trying to force an unwanted opinion, or unhelpful observations onto someone?

Most people admire those who are easy to be around, calm and centered.  

Don't be frantic, or obnoxious, or try so hard to get a reaction you alienate people.

If you are shy, just make eye contact and acknowledge the other person, either in gesture (if you are too shy to speak) or with a simple "hello" - said with a smile.    Don't wait for the other person to greet you first !

If you act invisible, well, people will respect that and ignore you.
