I saw a video on peta.com (you can view it if you go to that site, its on the right side). It's the worst thing I have ever seen and it will forever be burned into my mind. It was racoons and other animals they did this to. I just don't understand the cruelty of man...

  1. In many cultures (including American) animals are considered disposable. I cannot answer why the people in the video skin the animals alive, other than possibly to save time, thus earning more money. They don't care about the cruelty aspect, it's just a product to them. It's cultural acceptance, indifference, ignorance and $ that fuels the fire.

p.s. When I include we Americans, I should say that "disposable", it's like a farmer's mentality. The animals are merely a product. Just like the thousands of exotic pets, cats, dogs, Easter bunnies, etc. that get bought and then are discarded when the people realize how much responsibility goes with the animal. So sad...

Edit: True, animals are skinned all over the World, but not necc. while they are still alive.

  2. At least the Chinese did not wipe out entire wolf population like the Americans did.(funny now Americans have to "import" wolves from Canada and released them around Yellow Stone)   Nor wiped out entire lion/tiger population like the Europeans did back in the history.

Have you heard of how American buffalo were wiped out?  Did you see the photos/movies etc. that showing thousands skinless buffalo were all over the field and left there?   How long did Europeans settle in America compare to how many thousands years Chinese had lived in China?    It sure didn't take long before many species disappear in America.

Majority wiped out species were because Europeans/Americans.    All about business.

So why only trash talk China?  I smell racism.  Or rather...brainwashed by propaganda.

  3. Because there are equally pathetic people who buy the fur, if no one would purchase this items the killing would stop.

  4. i agree they should arrest on animal cruelty

  5. Ok I understand what you're saying but there really isn't an answer to this.  I mean why do people do any of the things they do?  You can't really understand unless you're them.

  6. people have been skinning animals for their fur in europe, africa, asia, us and just about everywhere for a really long time.  it's not just china.

  7. because they are sick, and believe that an animal has no feelings

  8. PETA kills animals!! read all about it at

    petakillsanimals.com

  9. Because the Chinese are demons who would do everything in the name of business and money.

  10. its so sad. I Could NEVER watch that video it would make me too sad.!

Here is a story in the Advertiser 06-07-2008

    Horror Eateries

With the Beijing Olympic Games almost upon us, why have there have been no protests by Australia about the horrific cruelty routinely inflicted on "man's best friend" in China?

While dog-meat restaurants have been closed in the Olympic city ahead of the Games, it's business as usual in other cities throughout China. The hopeless victims are commonly caged in front of the restaurants. At one restaurant, the owner stabbed an Alsatian in the chest with a knife lashed to a stick. The pitiful dog screamed. For several minutes it stood in shock, l*****g the wound as its blood pooled beneath it, and pathetically, still wagging its tail. The owner stabbed it again. Its howls of pain puzzlement were unbearable. The restaurant owner dragged it from the cage, blood dripping, tail still wagging, then pushed it over and stabbed it yet again, twisting in the knife as it howled even more. The son dragged the dog to the pot and thrust it, still alive, into the boiling water, in full view of other terrified dogs, Similar brutality was witnessed at other dog-meat restaurants. With the eyes of the world on China, surely this would have been the perfect time to shame China into banning this horrendous abuse of man's best friend?

I cry when mum read this story to me. :'(   :'(

I remember at high school I had a friend and she always had only young dogs,  when I asked her where is your puppy, she would say to me it ran away and than they had a new dog again and the same story again, that it ran away. Also they tied the dog next to a tree, so how can a dog run away, if it was tied to a tree. Now I know why.............

Also she said to me animals got no feelings and they were once bad peoples like murders in their past lives, that's way they get to been born as a animal.
