  1. Because they care.

  2. Depends who they mostly are?

Old people? - They prefer something safe

Your friends ( not very close) - May be jealous ( cuz they want but cannot)

Your sweetheart?- Dont want you to leave

But anyway, going out with an open mind is always a good idea, no matter where you go. Going out is the best way to learn, isn't it? I say that cuz I'm abroad too

  3. I'd do it. Good experiance. Don't listen to them.

  4. Studying abroad gives you an enriching experience.  However, there are some downsides to it.

First, most universities are geared toward local students.  Foreign students have to pay more to attend.

Second, foreign universities may not be accredited by an accreditation company from your place.  So if you move back, it might not hold as much merit.

Third, when you take exams back home, you might not have been well-prepared for it.  Perhaps the foreign university will concentrate more on what your home country considers minor.

If you plan to move to the foreign country permanently in the future, though, it might be something worthwhile to do.
