Why do people kick you and hate you when you're down, but also hate you when you're up? YOU CAN'T WIN!!?

I never understood this little mind f**t of a unfortunate fact. When I was doing horribly in my life and was just a total down and out loser, people would make fun of me, give me a hard time, and all sorts of things. Yet, when I finally succeeded and succeeded well, same thing!

I got people to be nice to me in a very phony way, kiss my A&&, that type of stuff, but people then hated on me for being that way.

So what I learned was, I just can't win with people!!!

I can't. I can't be poor and down and out, I can't be too wealthy,

I just can't win.

WHYYYYYYYY for the love of me, someone explain this to me are some people like this?

IT's so ANNOYING.

Oh Luke, quit with the drama!

All people are different. Something inspired you to become successful it wasn't just to be popular! These people who degraded you in the beginning were not your friends. These people who kiss your A&& are not your friends. Wealthy or poor, your still just Luke, so put that all aside and just be. You have made yourself what your are, not the people who degraded you or called you a loser.

Now that you have the wealth, share it. Be kind, smile and find new people who only care about Luke and not what Luke can buy.

They are out there, open your mind and your heart will follow.

One is in total agreement with you.  To understand this, one must do as I have learned to do, just take life moment by moment and trust God to take care of you.  Yet please remember you are not the loser the ones you speak of are, if not > why would they live their lives in such a confused state, not knowing what they know nor confirming to any real moral and intellectual standards whether of God or man, all they seem to do is try to destroy others, one is beginning to think they are not human.  Jesus Christ said they are of their father the devil.  You are a winner!  Peace in.

What you are basically saying is that you thought that they were laughing at you because you were down and out.  You assumed that being successful would automatically change that.  Perhaps they were laughing at you for another reason.  Maybe they are laughing because they can tell that you are trying too hard for their respect, admiration, etc?
