There's a big question! (Assuming you meant "leave".)

Depends upon you beliefs and experiences how you respond to this and whose answers you believe... Tibetan Buddhists believe that you come here with certain goals or objectives that you are here to achieve; to some degree this means that your path is laid out.  However, whilst here you can choose to do something completely different - so you still have free will.

I have also read that all living things live for 2,700,000,000 heartbeats - so we all live for the same "time" but the "duration" just varies.  Interesting idea, is said to explain why some animals live longer than others (the pace of life is different) but I've no idea whether it is true...

Others will say that your spirit determines when it is time to leave - it decides when you have experienced enough, and when it no longer wishes to be constrained by a flesh body...

Bottom line is that I guess you choose your preferred answer based upon what fits for you!!
