  1. Most people don't realize it when they experiment with it for recreational use but it is basically persecution heroine. It is classified as an opiate which is derived from the poppy plant. Like other opiates such as heroine, morphine, dilodid etc.. it basically synthisizes into the same chemical one it enters the blood stream. I was addicted to it for a couple of years before switching to heroine because heroine is much cheaper and easier to get. I'm not going to get into the ugly details of this carnal lifestyle but trust me this is no drug to fool aroud with. When I started taking it it was brand new on the marked and I had no idea where it was going to take me. I must say one thing, It is the ultimate high. Currently 2 years 8 moths 22 days sober and I still have cravings all the time. Hope this helps you to understand, if you have friends taking this c**p please tell them to get help. Trying to stop on your own is d**n near impossible.

  2. Why do people do cocaine? I can't  answer that.If you do not have pain and you take it I'm certain you are stoned. People take it to get high. The problem is that it is addictive, and deadly if you crush it and inject it. I've  been taking it for 9 years for severe pain.It works well for that.

  3. its a "happy pill"

it kinda makes you feel like your floating and everything around you just becomes wonderful

  4. It's a powerful narcotic.  Narcotics make people feel dreamy and drowsy when abused.  If Oxycontin is crushed, then all the pain medication is released at once.  It is meant to be a 12 hour controlled release pain medication, so use your imagination as to how high some one can get with 12 hours worth of pain reliever rushing through his/her body all at once.  Oxycontin is a synthetic morphine derivative and is stronger than morphine.

It can also kill you if you have never taken any drugs before and then you wallop your system with this.

  5. Well,

from experience.... I had brain surgery and for 1 month straight I was on it. I itched like h**l, barely took away my pain and I did not feel like eating and could not sleep that well.. the withdrawls were AWFUL... it was horrible. Sweats and then bad chills..where I could not get warm AND shakes. My mood swings were awful too... be high and then low. I don't know how or why someone would be addicted to that stuff! It did mellow the pain a bit, but, I had to take so much of it. Makes you constipated too!

Once in a while I felt great like there was not a care in the world... but, it did not last long. I hope I never have to have that drug again! Made me tired at times... dizzy too. Doc said DONT drive on those meds.. Well, I would never do that... as I was pretty flightly and afraid I would hurt someone driving!

  6. it makes you happy while its in your system.  don't take it, you will feel really bad after its gone.  thats why people always take so much.

  7. heogog - I'm sorry, but you are incorrect about two things.  Oxycodone is NOT a synthetic morphine derivative.  Oxycodone is a SEMI-synthetic from the alkaloid thebaine, not morphine.  It does not only make people drowsy and dreamy when abused, it causes (or can cause) those effects when taken properly, also.

All opiates can cause a euphoric state (good feelings).  This is the biggest reason for the psychological side of pain killer addiction.  Physical addiction is completely different.
