Why do people like animals so much?

i mean they are just some thing that walk around and do nothing, and u have to feed them and if they come back inside there paws will be dirty...gross i just dont get it...

because animals give people what other people cant

they give you unconditional love of which nothing in the world can replace they are loving forgiving and they don't care what you look like its whats on the inside that counts, even pets that are in the pound or shelters have so much love to give, to the very same species that caused them so much pain

and for someone to say that they cant understand why people like animals then you must have had a very sad life indeed

you clearly have no idea what amazing creatures there are in this world,

Sure they may get alittle messy at times, but stop and think when you were a baby and your mom said the same thing about you, but she done it any way. dogs- they are fun loving and get up and always wants to play but they can also sit there and listen to you when you have problems. i mean they cant talk back or tell you thats stupid or tell anyone so they are the best secret keepers(;

rodents- are also like dogs they always want to play and plus some rodents are cute like bunnies or ferrets.
