Why do people like hillary clinton?

like i can't see why people like hillary clinton. i can see why people like obama, but what's so great about hillary?

it was the Republicans who help hillary clinton last night . they know that they have a better Chance at beating her than barrak obama in a general election .no one really like hillary

she makes me sick. i don't know. she's so dishonest and hypocritical. one second she's smiling, next she's sticking the knife in obama's back.

just like republicans did to her husband, she got those wins on super tuesday by negative ads.  

i agree--no question republicans have a much better chance against her. but this country has made so many bad decisions (read electing bush the 2nd time)  that i give up. it's depressing.

Maybe, 12 years ago (or so) I saw Hillary give a speech at my sister's university and it was at that point that I first realized, hey, I thought Hillary was supposed to be the wicked witch incarnate - and ... wait a minute... she's not.  She's intelligent, warm, and funny!

I admire her experience, her tenacity, I like her policies & her plan for universal health care paid for by a fair flat tax.  But why do I "like" her as a person?  I bet a lot of it goes back to that speech I saw.  The disconnect between the reality of seeing & hearing her and how she is portrayed is pretty large.

If & you don't listen to the bad press that is put out by jealous rivals & listen to her talk you will see a person who is caring & intelligent. I learned from growing up in the city never to listen to gossip but to get to know a person for themselves. I am so glad I did that with her. She's trustworthy & can really do the job. Research her accomplishment's & you will understand her & see she has accomplished so much.

this election regardless is history in the making. and i dont think hillary is all that bad. she may be the 1st female president. so far she has texas vermont and rhode island. barrack obama if he wins the primary could possibly be the 1st black president. seems as far as i know that theres just one republican running so far and i am really hoping that republicans dont win again. we need another democrat for 8 years to hopefully put things back in order as bill clinton did.

Maybe they see a woman as the President a better choice right now considering all thats going on and with all the past male Presidents, maybe it's time for a change and who better to run than her with her experiences and achievements, though not known by many. To most people she's a refreshing change and her proposed treforms aren't that bad either.

I have personally met Sen. Clinton three times from 1992 to 2002, when she was First Lady as well as a candidate for the US Senate from NY. I also attended both Clinton's inaugurations and also met President Clinton several times. In my opinion, Hillary is more intelligent and certainly has better common sense than her husband does. As for her likeability, each time our conversations were pleasant. She even commented on the shirt I was wearing. She was engaging, personalbe, and we didn't even talk about politics. Hillary may not give flowery speeches but she does know how to get things done. I lived in NY during her tenure as Senator and I can vouch for her efficiency and for her likeability. People just need to not listen to the bad press. Thanks.
