  1. I would have to say that basically I do not like fruit but love vegetables.  However, I am a diabetic and truly am not a lover of fruit but two things I must have (one for a different problem).  I do have every day cooked oatmeal with milk and one medium size orange sliced up.  I really enjoy it but can't imagine having to drink the juice because I have tried it on more than one occasion in the past.  I am supposed to eat cranberries or pure cranberry juice for my kidneys -- can't do it, therefore, I take one pure cranberry capsule daily.

I enjoy my one sliced orange a day.  Really dislike anything else that even smells of orange and that includes aerosol room/space sprays.

  2. Why do people ask these questions?  Who are your friends?   I don't know anyone who hates the actual fruit... but most people dislike artificial orange flavoring......

  3. I love the actual fruit it's tons better than anything orange flavoured.

  4. I didn't know that people who like the flavOUR of oranges hate the fruit. Where did you get hold of that one from I wonder!

  5. I cannot eat or drink oranges.I am allergic to them babe!.

  6. i like oranges, they are nice, both the fruit and the flavour

in fact i'm feeling a little orangy atm

    lol

  7. when i was a little kid, i didn't want to eat oranges (even though i liked the flavor) because the texture really weirded me out. something about the stringiness/pulpiness really did not appeal to me, plus the possibility of eating seeds freaked me out. i like oranges now, but i can understand why people would prefer to get the orange flavor somewhere besides actual oranges. just my 2 cents :-)

  8. because its a no good ornery back stabbing sumbitch. and it said bad things about yo mama..

  9. I agree with Sway - I find the juice upsets my stomach but love eating the fruit.

  10. i luff em both -x

  11. Because the orange flavor is citrus and its sweet and sour at the same time.

  12. I love both..

maybe the actual oranges are more sour.

  13. I prefer the fruit myself

But maybe some people like the flavour more because the actual fruit can be slightly acidic at times!

  14. I am the opposite, I hate artificial orange flavor, but i can actually eat oranges

  15. The Fruit is messy

  16. I love the smell and taste of the actual fruit but I hate artificial orange flavour.

  17. I like both the flavor and fruit

  18. I love oranges.

  19. Probably because artificial orange flavouring really has a taste of it's own. It's kind of similar to oranges but not actually like oranges, and I suppose things that are flavoured orange are already something people want to eat because of the sweetness, like boiled sweets or chocolate or Fanta.

  20. I think the orange flavouring is a bit sweeter, so maybe people prefer the sweetness of it. With the actual fruit, some oranges are quite sweet, but others are really tangy - not pleasant for some!

I am like this - I will happily take orange flavour things, but the thought of eating an orange - urghh! Can't stand them. It is the very fact that some may be tangy that puts me off. However, and this is the odd bit, I think - I dont mind fresh orange juice and will also squeeze any orange and drink the juice.

  21. I don't hate either; I love them both!

    m/e

  22. they're weird. I love oranges.

  23. I haven't a clue.  Love honey

  24. how could you hate oranges?

  25. the texture..its like stringy and weird..i usually just cut it into wedges and suck the juice out lol

  26. I'm the opposite - i prefer the fruit, but cannot abide the flavouring. It tends to be really artificial tasting to me.

  27. I'm not really fond either way, but I hate the texture of oranges :P

  28. I hate the sticky fingers thing. And no i will not l**k my fingers. I don't

know where those fingers have been.LOL

  29. im the opposite. i hate artificial orange, but i like real oranges.
