I'm serious! So many people can hardly WAIT at the opportunity to claw you, throw venum, tear you down, burst your bubble, rain on your parade, whatever it takes, to knock you down a notch, and rise above you.
Usually women seem to do this, more so than men. Men are blatant. If they don't like you they are more aggressive about it, and just are verbal.
women play mind games.
Why though?
Do people do that on others they see as threats, or something about them they find irritating?
Today I decided to walk around dressed up, and went to the mall and asked some ladies behind the cuonter for some samples about their products, and I know alot about them, I've been around for years and years, so the lady looks at me and goes "you sure do know alot about these dont you?" In a way as to imply, why am I asking this, if I already know alot about it, etc.
I said, of course I do, but I still want to hear what you have to say about it, its an opinion from another "skin care professional," I value that.
She okayed me, but in a weird way like, okay right sure.
Then she asked me why I was clutching my cellphone so hard, away from sight, and I said "So that it doesn't get stolen." She basically went "right, okay, sure," so basically she thought I was weird or up to something, and thought I was playing games, so I basically played right back, and then I even told her "hey, I'm just bs'ing but,..you kinda set yourself up for it. " lol.
So then we both kinda laughed it off but, even after I left, she just had like this victorious look to her, like ha ha gotcha or something,
and I basically thought to myself, sheesh, I wasn't really here to get anyone, or play a mind game or view this as a battle,
I SIMPLY wanted a freaking cosmetics sample! LOL.
So honestly, WHY do many people just...turn everything into a huge competition, or a claw fest?
Is there a reason for this?
Was it MY fault?
Was I being too phony or weird?
was it her?
Where did I go wrong, or whatever.
