  1. They listen because like all charlatans and hate mongers he is very charismatic, and people do not take the time to educate themselves and he is 'banking' on that.  Like most elitists he thinks the commoner YOU should pay the price not him.  The rules do not apply to him.

  2. For the same reason priests touch little boys.  We are naturally selfish.

  3. Laziness.  Thats why people support poor environmental policies like corn based ethanol in gasoline.  We burn more gas w ETOH and emit MORE CO2.

  4. Not everyone listens to Gore, only the stupid ones.

  5. Only people who have open minds listen to and hear his message.

  6. seriously, though what politican actually does parctice what they preach

    hahaha

if you think about it...not that many if any at all!

  7. Why do people listen to ANYONE who doesn't practice what he/she preaches?  Simple:  They're ignorant.  If a person says one thing and does another, that person has demonstrated that they have no integrity and no credibility.  The problem is the ignorant masses believe everything they see or hear on TV without question.  Simply put, they don't dig any deeper to find out whether what they're being told is true, or whether the person who is telling them is qualified to make such judgments, or whether such a person talks the talk and walks the walk.

BOTTOM LINE:  When it comes to Al Gore, the people who listen to him can't be bothered to do their own research and see that (1) He is in no way qualified to talk about global warming -- whether it really exists, what's causing it if it DOES exist, and what we can do about it, if anything, and (2) He is a bigger part of the problem than he is a part of the solution -- assuming there IS a solution.

  8. Mr. Gore is human like every one else. Mr. Gore has a solution to our energy crisis. Albert Gore is yard stick that will use in the future. We should have done  this a long time ago. We should not be dependent on a foreign country for our energy. The time will come when they will be unable to provide the United States with fuel because of the oil peak.

  9. no one i know does...but have pity, he is trying...

  10. Because he is trying to do some good, I guess?

  11. If people knew what his family is all about, they wouldn't listen to the clown.

For instance, in the 1920's an 1930's, Algore the senior was also a senator from Tennessee. Just like Algore the lessor.

A special person, Sgt. Alvin York, upon his return from WWI attempted to get schools built for the Rural Children of Tennessee but was stopped at every turn by none other than.....Algore the senior. Why? Not really understood why, probably some feeling of slight from the Famous war hero toward the stay at home boy, Algore the senior.

But the point is, this entire family has the belief that they are above, A. the law, B. Common decency and C. Common man.

And as the tree grows so grows the saps. Sorry, Saplings.

  12. I sometimes wonder myself- what the guy says simply does not make sense and the fact that his lifestyle is exactly opposite from what he "teaches" makes it all ridiculous

We know from history (archeologic digs) that the weather around 1000- 1100 was much warmer than today- the viking settlers planted wheat in Greenland (impossible today)

We also know from history that the weather around 1600 was much colder than today- with people travelling overland in winter- across the Baltic sea (royal permit to build several inns on the route- so it must have been frequented enough to be profitable)

Gore's tales just don't add up

  13. well .... he probably knows more About the problem than you do and yet you want people to listen to you....

  14. You are absolutely right!  I don't think he really believes it himself otherwise he wouldn't light up that big mansion, drive SUV, or ride in his private airplane.  It's okay for him, but not us.  He's making millions on this global warming gig.   He must look at us and say , "There's a sucker born every day."

  15. It's better than listening to George Bush.

  16. your right. did you know he has a 6,000 dollar electricity bill a few years back?! hahahahahah

and he claims he can make the enviornment much more safe. ok let's see it. where's your 2 trillion dollars.

    what an idiot.
