Why do people live with illnesses when theres natural remedies that can treat them?

Natural remedies do work, but over a longer time frame then conventional medicines.  Sometimes we don't have enough time to treat ourselves.  I chose to use both, I used chemo to try to rid my body of cancer and hopefully give me more time to pursue the natural route.  Conventional did not help me,  natural has kept me stable during the last 20 months when I was told that with chemo I wouldn't last 12 months.  Altho I have great faith in natural, I don't think its enough to get me thru this cancer..... its all about hitting on the right combinations and how our immune systems can fight.

not all "natural" remedies work on everyone, just like not all pharmaceuticals work on everyone.

because many people are ignorant and believe everything that orthodox medicine tells them. also, many of those people just don't know about them.

also, did you know for example if a patient has cancer, it is against the law for a MD to try to treat them with natural remedies? They will lose their license! So of course the MD will never mention using solely natural remedies.

and also because in this society everyone wants a quick fix and doesn't want to take the time to do the research for themselves and since natural remedies can take longer to fully work, they are impatient and don't want to wait.

I know.  Some people think if you do not have a degree, then it can't and won't work.  I have people all around me that believe that way.  It is terrible.  We get into arguments all the time, Why not try something that is natural.  No they would rather use the drugs with all the side effects.
