I meanm I HOPE I'm not saying or talking about anything stupid. Or said anything stupid. I had a conversation with a coworker, about out future, out job careers, what we want to do and college and people/customers keep looking at us. Why do they keep looking at us? Is it because we sound dumb? Or is it because we sounded too serious? Were we loud? I mean, we just had a regular conversation and people keep looking at us.

  1. People are generally nosy by nature! Maybe you both should be paying more attention to your jobs and not  to a conversation that you ve just had. Some customers do not like girls/guys chatting when they are (customer) about to be served at the checkout. It comes across as rude and neglectful to that customer.

  2. They probably wonder why you are talking when you should be working.

  3. Hey, go with the flow, maybe they find what you're saying intriguing, or interesting.(At least they're talking to you, and not your b*****s, right?)

  4. It could be you are too loud.  When someone nearby is having a conversation and they are loud enough for me to hear every word, I am sometimes tempted to invite myself into the conversation.   Why not?  If they are talking that loud maybe they want me to hear.

On the other hand, depending on the context.  Maybe your customers want your attention?  Why are you having these deep conversations while on the clock?

  5. DUDE people are just curious and come on even if i speak of something , i won't deny it and look away or stop talking i would walk over one of them and ask them about the topic i was saying and see what their views are . DUde seriously most people are just curious about things ( other people ) that is why they were looking at you . i doub't that waht you said is wrong . Nothing can be wrong about discussing your future

  6. does this happen often? mayb u hav interesting convo and their curious...

  7. maybe there's something interesting there way u talk. when i was asked to read a book in front of my classroom before, i felt weird the way my classmate look at me. it's like there's something funny, but the book i was reading was not funny. and soon i asked my friend, it was because the way i read is different like a reporter.

  8. Number of reasons why, but maybe you should ASK them
