Why do people never say "it's only a game" when they're winning ?

I have seen it and have said it sometimes when I am winning. It helps the person who is losing deal with it better if they realize they are only losing a game. = )

Depends who you're playing. And if people DO say it if they feel the other person is trying too hard to beat them!

Because it is only a game. I don`t understand when people want to fight because their team lost. What is the point? After all it is only a game the rest of us just don't care. It is not life or death it is after all only a hockey game.
