Question:

Why do people only listen to what they want, just to retort with something relevant to what they heard...?

...when they heard wrong in the first place? What is so important about making a point about something irrelevant? What is the rush in opening their mouths to stink up the room with their incompetence?

I'm sure there are people here who ask themselves the same questions day in and day out. Thanks in advance.

  1. No, not a question I ever ask myself I must say and I don't experience what you are describing at all.

If this is something that you do experience often, and your question would suggest you experience it all the time, then I can only suggest that if people always hear you wrong then maybe you aren't explaining things clearly in the first place?

    Just a thought.
