Why do people put peanuts in their coke?

Well they have walnut cake and pecan cake so I guess  peanuts can be used also  now they do have a peanut butter frosting that  they decorate with chopped peanuts all around the border and it is very good especially with a chocolate cake  chocolate and peanuts and peanut butter go very well together  ,like a snickers bar

This may be strange, yeah, this is pretty strange. BUT my older sister (she's 34 now) and I'm 17 said that if you want to reap the benefits of coke, you should pair it with peanuts. She said that she uses this when she have to stay up very late at night, she said that it will really help prevent you from falling as sleep. A lot of students like me uses that method too.

BUT you might be referring to something. Like on social events or occasions, that I don't know.

Never tried it but I know a lot of people put raw eggs in their root beer.

To replenish energy, they used to say old-school Filipino boxers either eat balut (duck eggs) or sarsi (like root beer) with raw eggs.

OMG it's DELISH!  And peanuts in Orange Juice if you don't have coke.  It's the sweet/salty / nutty combination.  

Ohhh, it's SO good!  A friend turned me onto this when I was 12 & at 40+ I STILL love it!     Don't knock it til you've TRIED IT!
