Question:

Why do people put such blind faith in politicians?

One thing that never ceases to amaze me is how, otherwise logical thinking people, put such blind faith in politicians.

This is true of both conservatives and liberals. The McCain people fail to recognize McCain's crappy attitude, terrible family history, and liberal to moderate views. While at the same time the Obama people blatantly overlook Obama's inexperience, shady history, and turbulent life. Even the prideful, freethinking Libertarians fail to recognize that their man was at one time an attorney for the ACLU.

Why don't people vote and support their candidate, yet remain unbiased? Why can't conservatives be honest about their candidate and liberals do the same? Aren't we the one's doing the job interview?

  1. I agree. People put too much stock in these politicians!!!

    BUT

I don't think you understand the libertarian platform: the constitution.

  2. I'm honest most of that, if not all, is political game, rhetoric, non is actually a good measurement to pick a President. I vote Obama because I share his view of what America should be and I know he will work hard to accomplish it. That's not blindness that is vision.

  3. Most people are sheep-sheeple. They are not logical or thinking human beings. They are easily led by politicians because they are too lazy to research issues on their own. They rely on their party's talking points and then think they are informed. Its a sad situation.
